Cloverleaf Farm is a place that allows time for a little poetic reflection. Here’s ours: It’s an early morning mist kissing the surrounding meadows, bunnies zigzagging in the field, the heady perfume of flowering magnolias, heirloom roses, honeysuckle, night-blooming jasmine and old-fashioned moonflower vine. It’s fireflies, chipmunks, sun-loving lizards and rocking chairs on the back porch of a grand, old, 1859, in-the-country farmhouse. It’s soul-soothing sunsets and the rhythmic mating songs of a thousand crickets and tree frogs. In other words, it’s a bona fide Southern experience; it’s home.
