If you think you can’t have a black tie wedding at a farm, take time to meet Cloverleaf Farm.
Although Cloverleaf Farm is one of the older homes in the Athens area, this property also possesses a great deal of sophistication, complete with lavish design and architecture. This farm is anything but ordinary. Cloverleaf Farm’s versatility provides opportunities for any couple to make the property reflect their personalities, and the Wrights found this property to be just “right” for their special day!
Margaret Champagne and Jarrod Wright tied the knot on April 20. As alumni of Athens very own University of Georgia (GO Dawgs!), this couple made up their minds to get married in the town of their alma mater. Every detail was taken into account to make sure their day was perfect, even down to the weather. Margaret and Chris, our Sales Manager, spent one afternoon studying the Farmer’s Almanac to ensure that there was no chance of rain on this wedding day! April 20 had a .01 percent chance of rain, and the almanac got it right! A beautiful sunny, breezy day,it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The bride and groom’s guests arrived on charter buses and made their way into the courtyard garden, where a string ensemble’s radiant symphony filled the air. A real visionary herself, Margaret wanted her guests to enjoy the house and grounds in 4 unique phases. The property lent itself to a seamless flow from beginning to end. The ceremony situated perfectly in the courtside garden, the green trees framed the bride and groom with a blossoming altar at the center. Unique to each table, the floral arrangements brightened the table with eloquent balances of pinky peach hues and springtime glee. The buffet, placed in the magnificent ballroom just inside of the house, led guests to the nearby grounds where they enjoyed dinner under twinkling lights at dusk. Getting lost in all this glorious madness? No worries, Margaret even created her own directional sign that sat near the barn. The newly renovated barn later became the spot to celebrate the Wright’s matrimony with cake cutting and dancing (lots of dancing!). While Cloverleaf Farm may have been just a farm by day, it flourished into a luminous fairytale by night.
Congratulations to the Mr. and Mrs. Wright! Best wishes from Cloverfarm Farm and staff!
